Pakistan stands firm on sovereignty, rejects India’s allegations: Info Minister Tarar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar says that Pakistan has proven its strength by giving a befitting reply to the enemy in the war of justice, the Pakistani nation will not compromise on its honor and dignity.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Atta Tarar said that Pakistan presented a clear and unequivocal stand on the Pahalgam incident in Kakul a year ago, which proved to be an important turning point on the diplomatic front.

He said that Pakistan gave a befitting and effective response to India’s baseless allegations, while the Prime Minister, in his address, called the Pahalgam incident a tragedy and called for an end to the blame game and also offered a transparent and impartial investigation.

According to the Federal Information Minister, Pakistan expressed sympathy for the victims of the Pahalgam incident and expressed concern at the global level, while India went on the back foot on Pakistan’s demand for an investigation and many foreign countries supported Pakistan’s position.

He said that India not only does not express regret over terrorist incidents but also promotes terrorism, the fabric of other terrorist groups including BLA and TTP is similar to India.

Atta Tarar said that Pakistan is a strong wall against terrorism and is continuously making sacrifices in this war, the Pakistani armed forces are fully capable of giving a befitting reply to any adventure.

He said that under the leadership of the Field Marshal, the Pakistani army defended the country vigorously and proved its strength by giving an effective response to the enemy in the war of justice. The entire nation stands with the army to defend the homeland.

According to the Federal Minister of Information, the Prime Minister made it clear that the Pakistani nation will not compromise on its honor and dignity and Pakistan has gained respect, dignity and trust at the global level, while the morale of overseas Pakistanis has also been raised.

He further said that the truth of Pakistan has emerged as a bright reality at the global level, while India’s baseless allegations and fabricated narratives could not be accepted at the global level and the Prime Minister’s speech in Kakul will be remembered as an important milestone in history.
