ISLAMABAD: In a recent development within the Ministry of Interior, significant changes have been made at the top level for the effective management of visa-related affairs.
In an office order issued by the Interior Ministry, the post of Deputy Secretary (PE) under the Border Management has been redesignated as Deputy Secretary (Visa) with immediate effect.
Additionally, the ministry also approved the appointment of Shireen Hina Asghar as the Deputy Secretary (Visa) to look after the newly redesignated post for office-related issues across the country.
According to the office order available with Daily Ausaf, Shireen Hina, the Section Officer (BS-18) will take the aforementioned charge with immediate effect and will continue for a period of three months or until a regular incumbent is appointed.
Section Officer (Admn-1) of the Interior Ministry, Imran Asghar issued both office orders with the approval of the competent authority.
The changes under the leadership of Secretary Interior Capt. (R) Khuram Agha, are part of a broader effort by the Ministry of Interior to enhance its administrative capabilities in managing Pakistan’s borders and regulating the visa-related matters of foreign nationals.
