Pakistan’s response to Indian aggression is a golden chapter, says President

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari says that May 10 is a bright chapter in the country’s history. Addressing a grand ceremony held at the Pakistan Monument to mark the Battle of Truth, he said that aggression was imposed on Pakistan after the Pahalgam false flag operation. The Indian leadership adopted the path of aggression by misleading its people.

Pakistan’s response to Indian aggression is a golden chapter. Under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistani armed forces proved their skills. The falcons of the Pakistan Air Force struck the enemy. The Pakistani armed forces are ready at every moment to protect the country’s sovereignty and security.

The cowardly enemy attacked our mosques and innocent citizens in the darkness of night. The sons of Pakistan raised our heads proudly. 8 enemy aircraft were shot down. Pakistan has always been a proponent of peace. We have taken practical steps for world peace.

He further said that the solution of the Kashmir issue is indispensable for peace in South Asia, the Kashmiri people must be given the right to self-determination in accordance with the resolutions of the Security Council. Pakistan will continue to provide diplomatic, political and moral support to the Kashmiri people, Kashmir is occupied by India, the Kashmir issue is an unsolved agenda.

Water is the lifeline of our 240 million people, we will protect our water interests at all costs, the use of Afghan soil for terrorism in Pakistan should stop.

The President reiterated the commitment of the Pakistani government and people to support the Palestinian people and said that Pakistan will continue to support the Palestinian people unconditionally.
