ISLAMABAD: In a groundbreaking move, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal/ Chief of Army Staff (COAS) have been named among the World’s 500 most influential muslims of 2025.
The list of 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World for the year 2025 features several prominent Pakistanis who excel in religion, politics, education, and social development.
The yearly list, compiled by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in Amman, Jordan, gives recognition to Muslims who have created some sort of impact upon the world community-whether it be cultural, ideological, financial, or political.
Well-known Pakistanis among the top 50 include Mufti Taqi Usmani, ranked number two, Maulana Tariq Jamil at 32, Maulana Nazar-ur-Rehman at 41, and Sheikh Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri at 44.
Other renowned Pakistanis on the list of the remaining 450 include Dr. Farhat Hashmi, Dr. Tahir ul Qadri, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Professor Atta-ur-Rehman, Dr. Umar Saif, Muniba Mazari, Malala Yousafzai, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Abida Parveen, Muhammad Owais Raza Qadri, Salman Iqbal, Hamid Mir, and Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman.
