ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is likely to meet US President Donald Trump on September 25.
The Prime Minister may meet President Trump during his visit to the United Nations, in which Field Marshal Asim Munir will also participate.
Sources said that efforts to meet seem to be successful. In the context of the Israeli attacks and the conference of Muslim countries in Doha, the meeting is likely to take place on September 25.
The agenda, time, and venue for the meetings are being finalized.
Although President Trump will address the General Assembly session on September 23, and will also give a traditional reception in honor of world leaders.
The meeting will be held with the consultation, support, and backing of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The agenda will discuss the effects of the Israeli attacks on Qatar, while the flood disasters in Pakistan and the Pak-India situation will be discussed.
The Pakistani embassy has declined to comment or deny the possible meeting.
