PM Shehbaz unveils Army Rocket Force, hails ‘battle of truth’ victory

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, while announcing the formation of the Army Rocket Force Command, said that the Army Rocket Force Command will further strengthen Pakistan’s combat capability.

He said that in the Battle of Truth, Pakistan taught India a lesson of history that their future generations will remember until the Day of Judgment. The Battle of Truth proved that we have the full ability and strength to protect the freedom that our elders had achieved by making sacrifices.

Addressing a ceremony held to mark the Independence Day and the victory in the Battle of Truth, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that I congratulate you all on the completion of 78 years of Independence Day. Today is not an ordinary day. It has a long history, at every turn of which the sacrifices of our elders and the blood of martyrs are visible everywhere.

The Prime Minister said that this was not just a war of independence, but a victory of the two-nation ideology. I salute all the leaders and workers of the Pakistan Movement whose far-sighted leadership and great struggle changed history.

‘India has forgotten that wars are not fought only with weapons’

According to Shahbaz Sharif, we have named this Independence Day as the Battle of Truth. Recently, how did India suddenly attack Pakistan under the guise of a false and self-made accusation? It was arrogant that it would subdue Pakistan thanks to its war power, but it forgot that wars are not fought only with weapons, but for this, such fearless sons are needed who, putting their lives in the palm of their hands, jump into the battlefield.

He further said that in just 4 days, India’s pride was shattered because it faced an army that had brave and capable military leaders like Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Babar and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf standing behind it, and under their command were those young men who taught India the lesson of history that their future generations will remember till the Day of Judgment.

According to the Prime Minister, these are the brave young men who fight against the enemy by becoming a leaden wall and their mothers send them off from their homes with this prayer that son, give your life but never let the freedom, security and glory of the country come under fire, how can anyone defeat such a nation.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is a great son of the nation, Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is a great son of the nation who made such a courageous and wise strategy against India’s war madness, which is acknowledged by both friends and enemies.

He further said that just as a new independent country was born on August 14, 1947, a new nation came into being on May 10, 2025. The battle for truth has proven that we have the full capacity and strength to protect the freedom that our elders had achieved by making sacrifices.

The Prime Minister said that our nuclear power does not have an aggressive mindset in any way, but we adopted the path of nuclear power to strengthen our defense capability against India’s nuclear power.

In this regard, Pakistan thanks our trusted friends China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE, Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan for openly supporting Pakistan’s position at the global level.

He said that on this occasion, I also thank US President Donald Trump, who played a positive role for the ceasefire along with his team. I hope that for lasting peace in the region, Trump will play his role in resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions and the demands of justice.

Announcement of the formation of the Army Rocket Force Command

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced the formation of the Army Rocket Force Command, saying that this force will make our combat capabilities more effective.

He further said that with the cooperation of the Chief Justice, the FBR cases were resolved quickly, and more than 100 billion rupees were collected in the national treasury this year.

The Prime Minister said that now we will not give space to any new sedition, everyone has the right to protest but not to burn and surround, politics is the right but not to rebel against the state, we will never let it flourish.
