Bank branches to remain open on Saturday: Here’s why!

ISLAMABAD: To facilitate the processing of Hajj applications of Hajj 2026 pilgrims, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has directed 14 designated banks to keep their respective branches open across the country on August 16, 2025.

This decision has been taken at the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

The branches will remain open from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM on August 16 (Saturday).
