PPP, PML-N reach agreement on GB government formation

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) have reached an agreement on government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan.

PPP leader Naveed Qamar has confirmed in a conversation with a private news channel that we have reached an agreement with PML-N on government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan, and an agreement has been reached regarding the governor and deputy speaker.

Naveed Qamar said that the posts of governor and deputy speaker will go to PML-N, while the chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan will belong to PPP.

Reports said that after a meeting and communication between the top leadership of PPP and PML-N yesterday, an agreement was reached on government formation.

According to sources, PPP will form its government in Gilgit-Baltistan with the votes of PML-N.
