PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the construction of a new KP house in the Haripur district.
The construction project has been included in the Annual Development Programme (ADP) worth 500 million.
Rs 250 million has been allocated to initiate the scheme in the fiscal year of 2025-26.
The Deputy Commissioner of Haripur has been directed to select a suitable site for the construction of the new KP house.
The proposed KP House is expected to serve as an official government facility, providing accommodation and administrative support.
Orders were also issued to the Chief Engineer, Secretary Commissioner Hazara Division, and other departments.
According to the documents, the initial notification regarding the project was issued on September 3, 2025.
A copy of which was also sent to the Chief Engineer East, Secretary Commissioner Hazara Division, and other concerned officers.
Sources say that the project is currently in the stage of land identification and paperwork.
The practical work is expected to start after the final design and the appointment of the contract company for the completion of the project.
