ISLAMABAD: In an emergency meeting of the PTI parliamentary party, a consultation was held on the return of Sher Afzal Marwat to the party.
Sher Afzal Marwat arrived at the meeting at the invitation of the parliamentary party.
According to sources, PTI members said that Sher Afzal Marwat’s position should also be heard.
Asad Qaiser and Shehryar Afridi presented their position on the return of Sher Afzal Marwat, while Nisar Jatt also supported Sher Afzal Marwat’s return to the party.
Sher Afzal Marwat said in the meeting that statements come from within the party, and I am forced to respond.
If no one from within the party makes a statement against me, I will also remain silent. The party itself can’t make allegations against me and make statements.
The parliamentary party requested Sher Afzal Marwat to remain silent. The parliamentary party will present its position regarding Sher Afzal Marwat to the founder of PTI.
Sources say that the majority of the parliamentary party spoke in favor of Sher Afzal Marwat.
On the other hand, Shehryar Afridi said that the parliamentary party has not taken any final decision.
In this regard, Asad Qaiser says that the issue of Sher Afzal Marwat was discussed in the parliamentary party meeting, and the decision of PTI is the responsibility of the founder of PTI.
The decisions of the parliamentary party will be placed before the founder, and the final decision will be made by the founder.
