ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued an advisory to ticket holders and assembly members ahead of the September 8 power show in Sangjani area of Islamabad.
The PTI leadership has directed MNAs, MPs and ticket holders from nearby constituencies to arrive with at least 500 workers, while those from far-flung areas are expected to come with 150 workers.
The members have been asked to form caravans from their respective constituencies instead of gathering directly in Islamabad.
Additional workers from Rawalpindi, Murree, Hazara, Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum are expected to attend the leaders’ function.
According to the instructions of PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, Omar Ayub and Jalsa Committee, the participants have to reach the Jalsa Gah by 2 PM.
It is worth mentioning here that the district administration of Islamabad has changed the venue of PTI’s rally on September 8.
Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz issued a new NOC and shifted the ceremony to the opposite place of the original venue in the Sangjani area of the federal capital.
PTI leader Aamir Mughal along with senior party members visited the new venue late at night and vowed that the rally would go ahead as per schedule.
Mughal asserted that no force could stand in the way of the September 8 show of power and that the government’s actions reflected PTI’s fear of public influence.
The district administration had given conditional approval for the rally, saying it would last from 4 pm to 7 pm and there would be no disruption to business or public movement.
