ISLAMABAD: While speaking at the ABN Program Tajzia, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Muhammad Khan has said that Imran Khan has always taken a strong stand for the constitution and the sovereignty of Pakistan, and despite spending more than 600 days in jail, his courage and passion have not diminished. According to him, no member of the parliamentary party does not wants the release of the founder of PTI.

Ali Muhammad Khan said that protest is the fundamental right of any political party, but the door to negotiations should remain open, even if it is from Adiala Jail.

He stressed that the solution to political problems is possible only through political means; however, the lack of direct access to the founder of PTI for the last eight months is worrying. He said that the federal government’s intention for serious dialogue is not visible, and the lack of a meeting is surprising.

He said that attempts were made for negotiations in the past, too, but results could not be achieved, and it is a fact that no negotiations can succeed in the PTI without respect for the founder. Describing the decisions of party meetings as a trust, he said that sharing them outside is tantamount to treason. He was speaking on the program ABN News Tajzia.

Ali Muhammad Khan said that the decision to go to D-Chowk was taken suddenly, which Gandapur was not in favor of, while Ali Amin’s attempt could not be successful due to state resistance.

He made it clear that there will be no protest on Independence Day, but everyone should unite and participate in the Independence Day celebration. He said that the real enemies of Pakistan are those who are sending dead bodies and martyrs to their homes.

Former Governor Muhammad Zubair has said that due to the current situation in the country, public unrest and hatred can be felt openly, and the anxiety of the people in the markets is actually a natural reaction to the situation. According to him, this level of discontent among the majority is a serious problem that cannot be ignored.

He said that efforts are underway to limit politics, but the process of Nawaz Sharif’s return to politics is moving forward rapidly. Muhammad Zubair said that Nawaz Sharif will eventually have to return to the slogan of “give respect to the vote”, and if he sticks to this stance, the country’s political landscape could change completely.

The former governor claimed that Nawaz Sharif’s main goal is to make his daughter the prime minister. However, he also admitted that reversing the political situation of 2022 and 2023 will not be an easy task, as the changes that took place during this time have had a profound impact on politics and public attitudes.
