ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sanaullah Mastikhel has said that consultations are underway within the party on various statements and court decisions regarding the Chief Justice of Pakistan, and an official statement will be released soon by the core committee and the parliamentary party.

He said that at this time, the country desperately needs transparency, impartiality, and respect for constitutional institutions so that stability is created in political and judicial matters.

He said that some political leaders’ statements referred to Bhutto and Tara Masih, which has further complicated the situation. However, the party is fully considering the matter, and God willing, a clear position in this regard will come out soon.

Sanaullah Mastikhel said that the position of the PTI is very clear that all institutions, including the judiciary in Pakistan, should play an independent role according to the constitution and law, and no illegal action will be accepted. He was talking on the program Tajzia of ABN News.

He said that Imran Khan has not only been the elected Prime Minister of the people of Pakistan, but he is also considered a hero at the national and international levels. The allegations and sanctions against him are just a link of political revenge, which is harmful to the country and democracy. He said that Khan Sahib has always taken a categorical stand, and he is the hope of the people and youth of Pakistan.

Sanaullah Mastikhel added that in the past few days, the entire nation stood with the Pakistani army and proved that the defense of Pakistan is the top priority. The enemy’s propaganda was defeated by the Pakistani youth through social media, and they told the world that the Pakistani nation is united.

He said that today the country needs economic stability and political harmony the most. Unemployment, brain drain, and rising inflation have put the people in difficulties. Due to a lack of employment and respect, the youth are forced to leave the country. This situation is worrying, and practical steps will have to be taken to resolve it.

Talking about the new debate regarding provinces, Sanaullah Mastikhel said that this is just a failed attempt to divert the attention of the people. Such frivolous talks are being made due to the incompetence of the government and its inability to control public problems. He said that if ever there is a need to create provinces, this work will be possible only through public trust and parliament.

He said that the time has come for the rulers to wake up and move politics forward in the right direction. This country belongs to everyone, and it is everyone’s responsibility to play a positive role in bringing it out of crises.
