Punjab announces 8th standard board exams after 4 years

LAHORE: After 4 years, the annual board examinations of the eighth grade in Punjab will be held in March 2026.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan has said in his statement that the schedule of the annual board examinations has been prepared by PECTA. And the board examinations organized by PECTA will start from March 5.

He said that work has been started by PECTA to prepare for the examinations. And the examination will be held on a single pattern across Punjab.

According to PECTA officials, nominations of focal persons have been sought from all District Education Authorities.
