Punjab CM approves Rs47 billion ‘Ramadan Nigehban Package’

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz approved a Rs 47 billion ‘Ramadan Nigehban Package‘.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Punjab Chief Minister regarding Ramadan, in which the CM ration card, Nigehban Dastarkhwan, and Sahulat Bazaar for the needy were also approved.

It was decided in the meeting that ration card holders across Punjab will be given Rs 10,000 instead of Rs 3,000 during Ramadan.

In addition, under the program, 4.2 million deserving families of Punjab will be given Rs 10,000 each.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that no deserving family should feel alone during Ramadan, they will stand with the poor people in times of sorrow and happiness.
