Punjab govt announces Eid-ul-Azha holidays

LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced four-day holidays on Eid-ul-Azha 2026.

According to the official notification, the residents of Punjab will enjoy four-day holidays starting from 26 May 2026 to 29 May, 2026.

Earlier, after Sindh, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government also announced four holidays on Eid-ul-Azha.

The Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a notification regarding the holidays, after which there will be official holidays from Tuesday, May 26, to Friday, May 29.

During this time, all government offices and educational institutions will be closed. According to the announcement, emergency and rescue agencies will continue to work according to their own schedules.

It should be noted that the federal government has announced three-day holidays from May 26 to May 28.
