LAHORE: The first selection list for admissions to government medical colleges across Punjab was released on Tuesday.
As per the details, the first selection list for MBBS has been released on the website of the University of Health Sciences.
The minimum merit of government medical colleges was 94.3621 percent.
King Edu Medical College Lahore had the highest merit of 96.0727 percent, while Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore had the highest merit of 95.6091 percent.
Services Institute of Medical Sciences Lahore had the highest merit of 95.2773 percent, while Narowal Medical College, which was established this year, had the highest merit of 94.3621 percent.
Candidates will be able to view all the selection lists on the UHS website. Candidates seeking admission need to deposit their college fees by January 23. Candidates can download the college fee challan from the UHS admission portal.
The annual fee of government medical colleges is Rs. 18,000 and candidates can pay the college fee to Bank of Punjab and can also deposit it online in the UHS account. After depositing the fee, the candidate will have to give a written joining to the concerned medical college.
Only those candidates who deposit the fee and join will be given admission. The second selection list will be released on January 24.
