ISLAMABAD: The second phase of the Hajj 2026 operation for the return of Pakistani pilgrims will commence on May 31, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Officials said the first return flight carrying 391 Pakistani pilgrims will depart from Jeddah on the night of May 31 and arrive in Sialkot, marking the start of the post-Hajj repatriation process.
A large-scale flight operation has been planned for the first day of the return phase. On June 1, a total of 22 flights will bring 5,237 pilgrims back to Pakistan.
According to the flight schedule, five flights will land in Islamabad, four each in Karachi and Lahore, three each in Multan and Sialkot, two in Faisalabad, and one in Quetta.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that approximately 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims will be repatriated through 471 flights during the Hajj operation. Most return flights are scheduled to arrive in various cities across Pakistan on June 1, local time.
Officials further said that return flights from Madinah will begin on June 3, while the final phase of the operation will conclude in Lahore on June 30.
The ministry assured that all necessary arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth and comfortable return journey for pilgrims, with measures in place to prevent any inconvenience during the repatriation process.
