RAWALPINDI: A total of 47 Indian sponsored terrorists have been eliminated in two different operations in Balochistan’s Zhob district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

The ISPR in its press release said that 33 militants were gunned down, infiltrating through the Pakistan-Afghanistan Border in Zhob’s Sambaza area on the night between August 7-8.

A sanitisation operation in the surrounding area was launched following the killing of 33 terrorists, eliminating 14 more terrorists, the ISPR said.

According to the ISPR, once the terrorists were effectively neutralised, security personnel collected firearms, ammo, and explosives from the slain khwarij.

“The security forces remain committed to securing the nation’s frontiers and thwarting attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Pakistan,” according to the military’s media arm.
