Sheikh Rashid urges PM Imran Khan to impose Governor Rule in Sindh

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to impose Governor Rule in Sindh.

He said this while talking to media persons after meeting the prime minister in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Angered Sheikh Rashid said that the PPP and Sindg government are involved in buying the loyalty of MNAs and the game of sell and purchase is openly going on at Sindh House.

He further said whether the prime minister would accept his suggestion of imposing governor rule in Sindh or not, but he strongly suggested Imran to enforce the governor rule in Sindh.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has called an important meeting at PM House to discuss the current situation that emerged after  the news broke  on TV channels about the presence of the PTI disgruntled MNAs at Sindh House.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar and other senior party leaders have been summoned to PM House. Earlier, the prime minister  also consulted the legal experts in this regard.

Earlier, Some hidden disgruntled PTI MNAs on Wednesday surfaced from Sindh House, Islamabad before media and claimed that they are staying here due to security reasons.

Talking to a private TV channel’s anchorperson, who met the MNAs at Sindh House, PTI’s disgruntled member of the National Assembly Raja Riaz said that what happened with JUI-F MNAs at Parliament House, it could happen with them that is why they have moved to Sindh House.

Riaz claimed that if Prime Minister Imran Khan assures all MNAs that no action will be taken against those who decided to vote against him on the day of the no-confidence motion, they are ready to go back to the Parliament Lodges.

Riaz asserted that as many as 24 PTI MNAs are staying in the Sindh House right now, adding that even ministers are willing to join them but the PML-N is unable to accommodate all the members in upcoming elections.

Riaz, who is a member of the Jahangir Tareen Group, maintained that the disgruntled members would vote for the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan in “accordance with their conscience.”
