Sindh extends Section 144 restrictions for another month

KARACHI: The Sindh government has extended the restrictions imposed under Section 144 for another month.

According to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, protests, sit-ins, rallies and display of weapons will be banned under Section 144.

Wall chalking and public gatherings will be banned across Sindh, security guards will be allowed to carry weapons while on duty.

According to the Sindh Home Department, cases will be registered against violators, SHOs have been given the authority to take action under Section 188.
