Sindh govt holds meeting on jobs and services

KARACHI: A high-level meeting was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh, Asif Haider Shah, where key decisions were made regarding public services, development projects, and government recruitments in the province.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed that government job advertisements be published on the provincial job portal by the end of January, ensuring transparent and timely employment opportunities for the public.

He also announced that the provincial cabinet meetings have been fully digitalized, which will enhance transparency and efficiency in government affairs.

In addition, he directed that complaints received through the Prime Minister’s Complaint Cell be resolved promptly.

All secretaries were instructed to ensure the timely completion of development projects and improve the quality of public service delivery.

Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah emphasized that pension cases should be resolved within one year, while medical reimbursement claims should be settled within six months, to prevent unnecessary difficulties for retired employees and government officials.
