South Waziristan car bomb kills 9 security personnel

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Police have confirmed that at least nine security personnel were martyred and eight others were injured in a car bomb blast in the Sarvekai area of ​​Upper South Waziristan on Monday.

According to police, the blast took place in Mullah Khan Sarai, where a vehicle laden with explosives targeted security personnel on duty. The attack was sudden and forceful, causing significant casualties on the spot.

Police said that nine personnel were martyred in the blast. At least eight others were injured and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Emergency teams and law enforcement agencies reached the scene to secure the area.

Officials confirmed that the incident was in fact a bomb blast caused by a car laden with explosives. Additional police and security forces have been deployed in the area, while an investigation has been launched.
