ISLAMABAD: The ministry of Railways has announced five special trains for citizen for the Eid-ul-Adha to facilitate them reaching their homes during vacations.
The following Schedule has been announced for the arrival and departure of the trains in the Eid-ul-Adha season.
According to Pakistan Railways, some of these trains would employ new coaches from workshops, while others will make use of existing Eid special trains. The idea is to make travel easier and safer for everyone during Eid al-Adha.
Aside from the five special trains, Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi announced additional steps to make railway stations more modern, accessible, and user-friendly.
According to the minister, modern-style restaurants will be built at both stations. These will be delegated to professional management teams to assure quality and operational efficiencies. “Citizens will be able to visit and enjoy these facilities at any time,” Abbasi assured.
