Special trains announced for Eid-ul-Adha 2025

  •  Karachi cannt for Lahore at 01 pm on June 2.
  •  Quetta for Peshawar Cantt at 10 a.m. on June 3.
  • Lahore for Karachi Cantt at 5 pm on June 3.
  • Karachi City to Rawalpindi at 8 pm on June 3.
  • Another train from Karachi Cantt for Lahore at 8 pm. on June 4.

According to Pakistan Railways, some of these trains would employ new coaches from workshops, while others will make use of existing Eid special trains. The idea is to make travel easier and safer for everyone during Eid al-Adha.

Aside from the five special trains, Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi announced additional steps to make railway stations more modern, accessible, and user-friendly.

According to the minister, modern-style restaurants will be built at both stations. These will be delegated to professional management teams to assure quality and operational efficiencies. “Citizens will be able to visit and enjoy these facilities at any time,” Abbasi assured.
