Supreme Court to hear 13 Imran Khan cases, including Toshakhana

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has fixed 13 different cases of PTI founder Imran Khan for hearing.

A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi will hear the criminal petitions against Imran Khan related to the Toshakhana case. Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan will be part of the two-member bench.

It should be noted that the trial court had sentenced the PTI founder to 3 years in prison, the Islamabad High Court had suspended the sentence of the PTI founder. The PTI founder was sentenced under sections 167 and 173 of the Election Act.

In addition, the Toshakhana criminal case will also be heard on February 9. The petition has said that the trial court’s decision after the High Court’s order was an excess of legal authority, the trial court’s proceedings should be declared illegal.
