SWABI: Cloudburst and landslides wreaked havoc in Swabi as well, with 15 people killed after being swept away in floodwaters, Deputy Commissioner Swabi Nasrullah Khan said.
Khan reported that 12 houses were submerged in floodwaters in Dalori village, Gadoon, and landslides also occurred at various places due to the mountainous terrain.
DC Swabi, while confirming the submersion of houses due to a cloudburst, said that the administration, rescue, and other relief teams have left for the scene.
Rescue teams have also been called from Haripur and Mardan, he said. The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to people to come out voluntarily to help the affected people.
