Three lives lost due to substandard alcohol consumption in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A devastating incident occurred in Islamabad’s F-11 area, resulting in the loss of three lives after consuming substandard alcohol. The tragedy unfolded at Al-Safa Heights, within the jurisdiction of Shalimar Police Station, during a dance party.

According to sources, two women and one man ingested the tainted alcohol, leading to immediate deaths after which two of them died immediately after consuming the alcohal.

A third victim, identified as Nadia, was rushed to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital after reporting the incident to the Al-Safa Heights staff. Unfortunately, Nadia succumbed to her internal injuries at the hospital.

The deceased man has been identified as Zabit, son of Abdul Subhan, while the identity of the second woman remains unknown.

This heartbreaking incident highlights the dangers of consuming substandard alcohol and serves as a stark reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety and quality of beverages.
