ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the 20 points Trump gave for the Gaza peace agreement are not ours at all.

Speaking in the National Assembly session, Ishaq Dar said that people in Gaza are dying of hunger, and the United Nations, the European Union, and other international organizations have failed to establish peace in Gaza.

He said that a one-point agenda for a ceasefire in Gaza was discussed with President Trump, and after the meeting, 8 Muslim countries jointly gave 20 points in this regard and issued a statement.

However, the 20 points that President Trump later issued are not the points that we had given; it has been changed.

The Foreign Minister further said that this is not the draft that we had prepared, and we have given clarification in this regard in the Foreign Office briefing, and we will focus on the draft prepared by 8 Muslim countries.

Ishaq Dar said that a complete ceasefire in Gaza is necessary and that Gaza should be rebuilt.

This is not our personal issue; it is the responsibility of Islamic countries. There is no room for politics on the Palestinian issue. Our policy regarding Palestine is the same as that of the Quaid-e-Azam.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that we also had a senator in Sumudd Fotilla.

Israel has taken 22 boats and taken people into custody. According to our information, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed is also among those taken into custody.

Shama Junejo controversy

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar clarified in the House on the Shama Junejo controversy.

He said that the delegation that goes to the United Nations goes with the signature of the Foreign Minister; we did not send Shama Junejo’s name in this delegation.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that there is another delegation of the Prime Minister, this lady was a part of it.
