Zill Hajj moon sighted in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Ruet-e-Hilal committee has announced that the moon of Zill Hajj 2026 has been sighted in Pakistan.

According to the Ruet-e-Hillal committee’s announcement, Pakistan will observe Eid al-Adha 2026 on May 27.

The final announcement regarding the beginning of Zil Hajj was made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which relies on both scientific data and physical moon sighting reports.

The day of Arafah falls on the 9th of Zil Hajj, which is the day before Eid, and will be observed on Tuesday, 26th May 2026.
