Zonal committees to meet today to sight moon of Jumada al-Awwal

ISLAMABAD: The meetings of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees regarding the sighting of the moon of Jumada-ul-Awwal 1447 AH will be held today.

The meeting of the Central Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held at the Committee Room, Kohsar Block, Islamabad, Ministry of Religious Affairs.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, meetings of other zonal committees will be held simultaneously in all provincial capitals, where evidence of the sighting of the moon will be collected.

The final announcement regarding the sighting of the moon will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which will take a decision in the light of the information received from the various zonal committees.
