According to Indian media, Vishesh Bhatt wanted this song to reflect the emotional journey of Emraan Hashmi’s character ‘Shivam Pandit’ and he thought that Arijit’s voice was perfect for it.
It should be noted that Arijit Singh had announced his retirement from playback singing on his Instagram account at the beginning of this year while wishing his fans a happy New Year, which left his fans quite sad.
