His passing was confirmed by fellow actor Avtar Gill, and his last rites were held the same day with family and close friends by his side.

Apart from films, he also had a strong presence on television. Shows like Campus, Saans, Amanat, and Kahani Chandrakanta Ki made him a familiar face in households. His performances were always natural, making every role feel real and relatable.
