The incident occurred during the game between Rawalpindi and Islamabad United on Thursday in Karachi.
Tensions flared in the 17th over of Islamabad United’s innings when Mohammad Amir dismissed Faheem Ashraf. Following the wicket, both players engaged in a verbal altercation and moved towards each other as the situation briefly escalated.
Teammates quickly intervened, stepping in to separate the two and defuse the situation before it could intensify further.
In the match, Islamabad United set a modest target of 138 runs for Rawalpindi to chase.
