Aus vs Ind: Australia beat Indian side by 4 wickets in 2nd T20I

MELBOURNE: Australia defeated India by 4 wickets in the second T20I match played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved to be the right decision.

The entire Indian team was all out for 125 runs in 18.4 overs. Abhishek Sharma scored 68, and Harshit Rana scored 35 runs. No other batsman could enter double figures.

Axar Patel 7, Shubman Gill 5, Shivam Dube 4, Sanju Samson 2, Suryakumar Yadav 1, while Tilak Verma, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah were out without scoring any runs.

For Australia, Josh Hazlewood took 3 wickets, Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis took 2 wickets each, while Marcus Stoinis took one wicket.

The Australian team easily achieved the target of 126 runs in 13.2 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.

Captain Mitchell Marsh scored 46, Travis Head scored 28, and Josh Ingles scored 20 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Varun Chakravarthy took 2 wickets each for India.

Australia has taken a 0-1 lead in the five-match T20 series.
