KARACHI: Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam has set another world record in T20 cricket, becoming the fastest batsman to complete 12,000 runs in T20 cricket.
The Pakistani star batsman crossed this milestone during a match against Karachi Kings in the PSL. Babar completed 12,000 T20 runs in 338 innings.
Babar Azam broke the world record of former West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle, who scored 12,000 runs in 343 innings.
Virat Kohli achieved this feat in 360 innings, while David Warner completed 12,000 runs in 368 innings.
It should be noted that Babar Azam is the second Pakistani player to complete 12,000 T20 runs. Earlier, Shoaib Malik had also crossed this milestone.
