Babar Azam ties unwanted T20 International record after another duck

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s batsman Babar Azam equaled an unwanted record in T20 Internationals by getting out on zero for the 10th time.

On Thursday, Babar was once again dismissed for zero in the match against Sri Lanka in the tri-nation T20 series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

This was the 10th time that Babar was dismissed for zero in a T20 International match. Earlier, Babar Azam was also dismissed for zero in the first match of the tri-nation series against Zimbabwe.

Thus, Babar Azam, along with Saim Ayub and Umar Akmal, became the batsman with the most dismissals for zero in T20 Internationals.

Umar Akmal has been dismissed for zero 10 times in 84 matches, Saim Ayub has been dismissed for zero 10 times in 55 matches, while Babar Azam has been dismissed for zero 10 times in 135 matches.
