ISLAMABAD: Pakistani star cricketers Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi joined Pakistani fans in sending congratulatory messages to the national cricket team against England.

As per the details, the trio, Babar, Shaheen, and Naseem had been “rested” for the rest of the series after ending up on the losing side during the first Test.

Kamran Ghulam, Noman Ali, and Sajid Khan replaced Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah for the second Test, as the selection committee took a gamble, which paid off brilliantly.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Babar Azam wrote, “Well done, team! Fantastic win. Proud of the effort and spirit” over a picture of Pakistan team celebrating.

Shaheen Shah Afridi posted on Instagram with his message.

“Fantastic win at home! Congratulations to Pakistan, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan were exceptional, along with a dream debut for Kamran Ghulam and a massive contribution from Salman Ali Agha. Keep it going, Inshallah!” he posted on his Instagram handle.

Naseem Shah chimed in with “What a sensational performance by the boys in Multan! Hats off to Sajid Khan and Noman Ali for absolutely stealing the show with a dream debut by Kamran Ghulam. Take a bow, gentleman. Congratulations to the fans, you deserve this! Let’s bring the same energy & support for the final game,”.
