LAHORE: The newly introduced Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Hyderabad Kingsmen, has officially signed Australian batting star Glenn Maxwell for the upcoming 11th edition of the tournament.

Maxwell, known for his explosive batting, will join fellow Australian Marnus Labuschagne, who was earlier signed by the franchise as a direct acquisition for the new season.

The right-handed batter has showcased his talent in major T20 franchise leagues around the world, including the Big Bash League, Indian Premier League, The Hundred, and Vitality Blast.

In 502 T20 matches across domestic and franchise cricket, Maxwell has scored 10,986 runs at a strike rate of 154.16, with 58 half-centuries and eight centuries. In addition, he has claimed 196 wickets, cementing his reputation as a world-class all-rounder in the shortest format of the game.

The Hyderabad Kingsmen’s acquisition of Maxwell and Labuschagne signals their intent to make a strong impact in PSL 11.
