DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced men’s Player of the Month for October.
The ICC Player of the Month award went to South Africa’s Senuran Muthusamy, Pakistan’s Nouman Ali, and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan were also named as the best players for October.
South Africa’s Senuran Muthusamy played an important role in drawing the series against Pakistan in the Pindi Test in the ICC World Test Championship.
He scored 106 runs and dismissed 11 players in two Test matches against Pakistan, and was named the best player of the series.
Nouman Ali took a total of 14 wickets in two Test matches against South Africa. He took 10 wickets in the Lahore Test and played an important role in helping Pakistan win by 93 runs.
Rashid Khan played five T20 matches against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh and performed well; he was named the best player based on this performance.
