Lahore Qalandars suffer major setback, key foreign batsman out of tournament

ISLAMABAD: PSL team Lahore Qalandars has suffered a major setback and key foreign batsman Pervaiz Hussain Iman has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

Lahore Qalandars spokesperson confirmed the Bangladeshi wicketkeeper-batsman’s exit from the PSL and said that Pervaiz Hussain Iman has been ruled out of the league due to a shoulder injury.

Pervaiz Hussain was unfit after colliding with Asif Ali in the match against Multan Sultans, Pervaiz Hussain Iman has been released from the team.

Pervaiz Hussain’s MRI scan has confirmed a ligament tear, and doctors have advised Pervaiz Hussain to take complete rest.

Qalandars administration says team management has decided to release him from the squad due to lack of full fitness, replacement player will be announced soon.
