ISLAMABAD: Three-time world champion Muhammad Asif defeated Punjab’s Rana Irfan 3-6 to win the title.
World champion Muhammad Asif put in a brilliant performance and defeated inexperienced Rana Irfan by six frames to three to win the National Bank Golden Jubilee National Snooker Championship.
The chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony, National Bank President Rehmat Ali Hasni, presented Rs. 350,000 and a beautiful trophy to the winner Muhammad Asif, while Rana Irfan for the biggest break (141) received Rs. 20,000 and a trophy and Rs. 200,000 for the runners-up.
In the final of the championship played at the NBP Sports Complex, three-time world champion Muhammad Asif defeated Punjab’s Rana Irfan 3-6 to win the title. Even brilliant century breaks of 112 and 141 could not help Rana Irfan.
