New Zealand stun India with historic ODI series win on home soil

ISLAMABAD: New Zealand made history on Indian soil.

As per the details, the New Zealand defeated India in an ODI series for the first time on its home soil.

In the third ODI, New Zealand won against India by 41 runs and won the series 2-1.

Playing first against India, New Zealand scored 337 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs, with Daryl Mitchell scoring 137 and Glenn Phillips scoring 106 runs.

Indian batsmen looked helpless in front of the New Zealand bowlers, only Virat Kohli stood out with 124 runs, Nitish Kumar scored 53 and Harshit Rana scored 52 runs.

It should be remembered that in 37 years, New Zealand has played seven ODI series in India but has not been successful in any of them, thus defeating India in an ODI series on their own soil for the first time.
