LAHORE: The Emerging Team of the Tournament for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 has been announced, showcasing a promising pool of young talent that delivered standout performances throughout the competition.
Leading the side is Sameer Minhas from Islamabad United, who captains the team after scoring 349 runs at an impressive strike rate of 155.80, making him one of the most impactful emerging batters of the season.
The batting lineup features Shamyl Hussain of Quetta Gladiators and Maaz Sadaqat from Hyderabad Kingsmen. Mirza Saad Baig of Karachi Kings has been selected as the wicketkeeper-batter, strengthening the top order.
Farhan Yousuf of Peshawar Zalmi earned his place after a breakthrough season, particularly excelling in the field. Saad Masood of Rawalpindiz has been included as an all-rounder for his contributions in the middle order.
The bowling unit is spearheaded by Hunain Shah of Hyderabad Kingsmen, who also featured in the main Team of the Tournament. He is joined by Ali Raza of Peshawar Zalmi, who claimed the only hat-trick of PSL 11.
Other bowlers include Mohammad Ismail and Momin Qamar from Multan Sultans, along with Ubaid Shah of Lahore Qalandars, adding depth and variety to the attack.
Mohammad Farooq of Lahore Qalandars has been named as the 12th player after scoring 87 runs in four matches, including a half-century.
