Pakistan crush Australia in record-breaking T20 series

LAHORE: Pakistan whitewashed Australia in the T20 series.

Several records were also made in the last match, the Pakistani team became the first team to dismiss Australia for less than a hundred runs three times in a T20 International, in addition to this, Pakistan also won the honor of making a clean sweep for the second time in a three-match series.

The national team also scored the highest score in its history of 207 runs in the T20 against Australia, in response to which the Australian team lost courage for 96 runs.

Thus, Pakistan inflicted the worst defeat in history on Australia by 111 runs. In bowling, Muhammad Nawaz made history, he took 5 wickets and became the first Pakistani bowler to take five wickets in a T20 International against Australia.

Muhammad Nawaz has also become the second Pakistani bowler to take five wickets in a total in a T20 International, before him this record was held by Umar Gul.

Shaheen Afridi also achieved an honour in the last match, taking a wicket in his first over, setting a record of taking 25 wickets in the first over.

Babar Azam broke Virat Kohli’s record for most half-centuries in T20 Internationals by scoring a half-century in this match, Babar Azam has scored 39 half-centuries.
