Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka to compete in ODI tri-series

LAHORE: Pakistan, England, and Sri Lanka have reached an in-principle agreement to hold a tri-nation series in the ODI format, which is likely to take place in the last week of October this year.

According to media reports, the venues for the series are being finalized, after which the schedule will be shared with the relevant cricket boards, and a formal announcement will be made after mutual consultation.

Additionally, two Tests and three T20 matches are also likely to be scheduled during the Sri Lankan cricket team’s expected tour of Pakistan.

Australia’s ODI squad likely to tour Pakistan

Earlier, the Australian national cricket team is expected to visit Pakistan as part of its preparations for the 2027 ODI World Cup, according to media reports.

According to reports, all matches of the ODI series between the Pakistan national cricket team and Australia are likely to be held in Lahore.

The touring side is expected to play a three-match ODI series, with fixtures tentatively scheduled for May 31, June 2, and June 4. Reports added that the Pakistan Cricket Board will soon make an official announcement regarding the series schedule.

Following the Pakistan tour, the Australian team is also expected to travel to Bangladesh for another international assignment.
