Pakistan Women’s Team announced for T20 series against Zimbabwe

LAHORE: The Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team’s national squad for the 3-match T20 series against Zimbabwe has been announced.

The national women’s cricket team will continue to be led by Fatima Sana. The team includes Alia Riaz, Anbar Kainat, Ayesha Zafar, Iman Fatima, Gul Feroza, Iram Javed, Muniba Ali (wicketkeeper), Nashreh Sindhu, Natalia Pervez, Ramin Shamim, Sidra Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Tasmia Rabab and Tuba Hassan.

The series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe Women’s teams will be played from May 12 to 15 at the National Bank Stadium. All matches will start at 7:30 PM.

Anbar Kainat has been included in the squad as the only uncapped player. She had a brilliant performance in the recent National Women’s T20 tournament and took 11 wickets.

The team management hopes that the national women’s team will win the series by putting in their best performance on home ground.
