Pakistan’s Samar Khan conquers Europe’s highest peak Elbrus

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani mountaineer Samar Khan has successfully scaled Europe‘s highest peak Mount Elbers and scaled it down by snowboarding, here on Thursday.

As per the details, hailing from Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, Khan has become the first Pakistani to reach the 5,642-meter peak in Russia.

She achieved this remarkable feat with the support of Frontier Corps North, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She also hoisted the Pakistani flag on the summit after successfully scaling the mountain.

Samar Khan also holds the distinction of being the first female cyclist in Africa to scale Kilimanjaro, the third largest non-polar glacier in the world.

Samar also won first place in the 2021 Redbull Homerun snowboarding race.
