PCB enforces stricter social media policy following Naseem Shah controversy

ABBOTTABAD: PCB has signed an agreement to build a cricket ground in Abbottabad city.

A 25-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Abbottabad University of Science and Technology for the establishment of a high-performance cricket center.

According to the agreement, Abbottabad University will provide land for the cricket ground on its campus, while the PCB will construct a cricket ground according to modern standards. The ground will be provided with high-quality match and practice pitches, pavilions, modern machinery and all necessary facilities according to the standards of domestic cricket.

The university will provide its hostel and mess facilities free of charge for the accommodation of players and coaches, while the PCB will use this ground for regional training camps and regional academy activities throughout the year.

The project will provide modern training facilities to the under-15, school, first-class and other levels of cricketers in the Abbott region, which will give a new impetus to the promotion of cricket in the region.

The MoU was signed by PCB Senior General Manager Domestic Cricket Operations Osama Sharon and officials from Abbottabad University.

Speaking on the occasion, Osama Sharon said that this project is a welcome and encouraging step for the players of the Abbott region, which will play an important role in developing local talent and advancing it at the national level.
