LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the official jersey of the national team for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 during a big ceremony at the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium.

The ceremony was held at the recently revamped stadium, where several Pakistani players showed off the new kit to an excited crowd of cricket lovers. The inauguration of Gaddafi Stadium also saw the launch of a video of the Pakistani cricketers decked out in the new jersey.

Sleek and modern in design, the light green jersey prominently features the word “Pakistan” written right across the center. A green crescent is emblazoned on the left side, while the other side displays the emblem for the Championships.

The unveiling of the new jersey proves to be a moment long sought after by fans of Pakistani cricket, whose anticipation now mounts for the team’s performance in the tournament aforementioned.

The event was also a celebration of completing the renovation of the Gaddafi Stadium, which will be significant in the upcoming tri-nation qualification series of ODIs among Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.

The Gaddafi Stadium will host two matches of the series on February 8 and 10, and if qualified, will host at least four matches during the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, including the second semi-final on March 5. If India fails to make it to the final match, Gaddafi Stadium could host the final on March 9.

The Champions Trophy is set to play out from February 19 to March 9, with 15 matches across three venues in Pakistan-Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi-adding one in Dubai. The tournament is projected to be quite a return for cricket, with top cricketing nations vying for the championship.
