PSL XI 2026: Peshawar Zalmi defeat Rawalpindi Pindez by 5 wickets

LAHORE: In the third match of HBL PSL XI, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Rawalpindi Pindez by 5 wickets.

In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Rawalpindi Pindez captain Muhammad Rizwan won the toss and decided to bat first.

Rawalpindi Pindez scored 214 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Rizwan and Yasir Khan opened the innings for Pindez and both players showed excellent batting.

Yasir Khan scored 83, captain Muhammad Rizwan scored 41 runs, Kamran Ghulam scored 37, Daryl Mitchell scored 23 and Sam Billings scored 18 runs.

Fast bowler Ali Raza dismissed 2 players for Peshawar Zalmi.

Rawalpindi Pindez’s target of 215 runs was achieved by Peshawar Zalmi in the last over for the loss of five wickets.

For the winning team, Mohammad Haris scored 47 and Babar Azam scored 39. Michael Bracewell scored 35 and Abdul Samad scored 33 runs off 11 balls.
